MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LOBBY AND CANOPY RENOVATION PROJECT

During this summer of 2016, Broughton Construction received a Task Order to complete the new lobby and canopy entrance of Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.
The project will be a highlight for the school with new steel structure canopy, Dr. King’s image montage and front façade landscape. Beautifying the lobby with new flooring, ceiling and walls to brighten-up the space, and ADA ramp will add to the completeness appeal of this community treasure. For this project Broughton has setting out goals of at least 50% of all construction contract dollars be awarded to DSLBD Certified Business Enterprise minority-owned (MBE), women-owned (WBE) and Washington DC local-based small businesses.
