John Tyler Elementary School, located in the heart of Capitol Hill was built in 1890 as an eight room schoolhouse; today it accommodates over 1100 students.The Scope of Work at Tyler Elementary School includes the design and renovation of over 31 classrooms. Services provided by Broughton include site-work, ensuring quality and natural day-lighting by replacing the windows and lighting systems, painting the walls to brighten the rooms, repairing and replacing the air conditioning and heating systems in the classrooms, and wiring the classrooms computers so that students and teachers can access online learning resources.
